Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our supply chain and warehouse operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, warehouse distribution, and logistics functions. Your expertise will drive process improvements, support demand planning, and contribute to efficient materials handling. This position offers an exciting opportunity to impact our supply chain excellence through data-driven decision-making and strategic category management. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Access and QuickBooks. Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and root cause analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Analyze inventory trends using data collection tools to support stocking strategies and process improvements. Coordinate with logistics providers, shipping & receiving teams, and warehouse management to ensure timely order fulfillment and materials handling. Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory management efficiency, reducing costs, and streamlining warehouse operations. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or inventory control roles with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems. Demonstrated skills in data analysis, data visualization, and supply chain analytics to inform decision-making. Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contract management, and negotiation techniques. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment including forklifts; certification preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and financial modeling related to inventory costs and pricing strategies. Familiarity with Access and QuickBooks. Excellent communication skills for collaborating across departments including retail management, production planning, and logistics teams. Pay:
