Job Description
Job Title:
Inventory Specialist Responsibilities Physically receive parts and accurately enter data into the ERP system. Label and organize parts for easy access and storage. Pick and scan parts and kits into Excel spreadsheets, maintaining traceability through documentation of batch, lot, and serial numbers. Track the movement of parts from picking through shipping. Pack and crate parts, ensure quality inspections, and track shipped versus non-shipped items in Excel. Report, investigate, and resolve any inventory discrepancies. Participate in process improvements to enhance efficiency. Perform ERP system transactions including receipts, inventory movement, and allocation of parts to jobs. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workspace. Safely move products using a pallet jack. Essential Skills Experience with inventory control and management. Proficiency in ERP systems, with a strong preference for SAP. Skilled in shipping and receiving processes. Familiarity with material handling and cycle counts. Attention to detail and precision in documentation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nottingham, MD 21236. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
