Inventory Control Specialist Dearborn, MI Job Details Full-time $1,000 - $2,000 a week 1 day ago Qualifications Defect detection (quality control) Inventory records Unloading Forklift Attention to detail Quality inspection Warehouse experience Logistics inventory management Communication skills Entry level Automotive parts and accessories knowledge Full Job Description Manfield Auto Parts is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory accuracy and stock control across our branch locations. This role involves traveling between branches, performing spot checks, reviewing inventory levels, handling cores and defects, and assisting with general inventory-related operations. This is a hands-on position for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working both in the warehouse and at branch locations. Responsibilities Travel between Manfield Auto Parts branch locations to perform inventory spot checks Verify physical inventory against system quantities and report discrepancies Review branch stock levels to help prevent overstocking or improper inventory buildup Inspect and organize cores and defective parts Load and unload cores, defects, and inventory as needed Assist with inventory transfers and branch inventory organization Help identify inventory issues, process errors, and stock control problems Work closely with branch staff and management to maintain accurate inventory Support additional inventory-related duties as needed Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently Comfortable traveling between multiple branch locations Ability to lift and move auto parts, cores, and related inventory Good organizational and communication skills Prior inventory, warehouse, auto parts, or branch operations experience is preferred Forklift or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required Pay $1,000 to $2,000 per week , depending on experience Ideal Candidate The right person for this role is someone who takes ownership, notices problems before they grow, and understands the importance of keeping inventory clean, accurate, and under control. Experience in auto parts, warehouse operations, or inventory management is strongly preferred.
