Cannabis Inventory Specialist (METRC Proficient)

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cannabis Inventory Specialist with METRC proficiency to join #TEAMSMŌK. In this role, you will oversee the accurate tracking and management of cannabis inventory using the METRC (Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting Compliance) system, ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal standards. Your expertise will help streamline inventory processes, support supply chain operations, and maintain precise records across our cultivation, manufacturing, and retail facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing industry while utilizing your skills in inventory control, data analysis, and warehouse management. Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate cannabis inventory records within the METRC system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes to verify stock accuracy. Utilize data mining and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to analyze inventory trends and identify discrepancies or inefficiencies. Implement process improvements for inventory workflows to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Assist in root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence. Support logistics planning by coordinating with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for shipping & receiving operations. Experience Proven experience working with METRC or similar cannabis tracking systems with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance standards. Extensive iventory experience including inventory management, materials handling, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment. Ability to perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies effectively.
