About Us We are a fast-growing cannabis company dedicated to providing high-quality products while maintaining strict compliance with state regulations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cannabis Inventory Specialist to oversee inventory management, ensure accurate tracking of cannabis products, and support daily operations. Position Summary The Cannabis Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting audits, tracking product movement, and ensuring compliance with all state and company regulations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced with inventory management systems. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for all cannabis products and related supplies. Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments. Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and full audits. Monitor product movement from receiving through sale or transfer. Ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations and reporting requirements. Utilize inventory management software and state tracking systems (e.g., METRC, BioTrack, or applicable systems). Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly. Generate inventory reports and communicate findings to management. Coordinate with cultivation, manufacturing, and retail teams regarding inventory needs. Maintain organized storage areas and proper product labeling. Assist with product recalls, destruction procedures, and compliance inspections as needed.
QualificationsRequired:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 years of inventory management, warehouse, logistics, or cannabis industry experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with inventory software and Microsoft Excel. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Must meet all state requirements for employment in the cannabis industry.
Preferred:
Experience with METRC or other cannabis seed-to-sale tracking systems. Previous experience in a cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, or dispensary environment. Knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance requirements. From $16.00 per hour
