Oversee inventory accounting:
physical counts, reconciliations, valuation, and root cause analysis of variances. Support annual budgeting and interim forecasting with data-driven assumptions. Review general ledger activity, perform account reconciliations, and maintain robust supporting documentation. Assist with year-end close, external audit requests, and compliance activities. Continuously improve processes, reporting, and internal controls for efficiency and rigor. Ensure compliance with company policies, the Quality Management System (QMS), and Environmental Management System (EMS). People leadership Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff; set priorities and manage workload. Review deliverables for accuracy and adherence to accounting policies. Coach and train the team to elevate technical skills and business understanding. Support hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations; promote accountability and collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. 3-7+ years in accounting/finance; manufacturing environment preferred. Strong knowledge of financial statements and close processes. Experience in inventory accounting and cost analysis. Advanced Excel with proficiency in Office; ERP experience preferred. Core strengths Exceptional analytical and problem-solving mindset.
