Job Description

Job Summary Detroit Axle is seeking a Remanufacturing Inventory & Receiving Coordinator to oversee inventory, receiving, accessory parts, and production supplies related to remanufactured items. This position is responsible for ordering, receiving, stocking, documenting, and maintaining inventory used in the remanufacturing process. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to support both warehouse production needs and customer service operations. This role also includes maintaining the storage room, documenting incoming purchases, communicating with the Purchasing Department, and assisting customers as needed. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee and maintain inventory for all remanufacturing-related items, accessory parts, and production supplies. Place orders for needed parts, accessories, and production inventory. Follow up on orders to ensure materials are received on time. Receive all incoming purchases and verify items received. Count all received items and confirm quantities are accurate. Document received inventory and maintain accurate records. Maintain and organize the storage room. Keep storage areas properly stocked, clean, and accessible for production needs. Track inventory related to remanufactured products and associated accessories. Document Bills of Lading, also known as BOLs. Communicate with the Purchasing Department regarding received items, order status, shortages, discrepancies, and inventory needs. Assist with inventory counts and stock control. Support customer service operations by assisting customers as needed. Perform cashier duties when required. Support the Production Manager with inventory, receiving, and production-related requests. Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Production Manager or upper management. Qualifications Previous warehouse, inventory, receiving, parts, or production support experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to count, verify, and document inventory correctly. Good communication and follow-up skills. Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment. Basic computer and data-entry skills preferred. Ability to communicate professionally with purchasing, production, management, and customers. Ability to follow company procedures and safety rules. Cashier or customer service experience is a plus. $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
