Job Title:
Inventory Control Specialist Job Description The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for accurately storing, kitting, and moving materials to points of use, transacting materials through the ERP system, correcting discrepancies, communicating material placement and flow with Leads and Planners, monitoring shipping schedules, assisting with continuous improvement initiatives, and auditing inventory locations and product kits. Responsibilities Accurately store, kit, and move materials to designated points. Transact materials through the ERP system. Correct any discrepancies in inventory. Communicate material placement and flow with Leads and Planners. Monitor the shipping schedule. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives. Audit inventory locations and product kits. Essential Skills 1+ year of inventory control experience. Strong computer skills. Proficiency in inventory management and control. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of inventory experience preferred. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers. Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is for the 2nd shift, from 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm, Monday through Friday. Training may be required on the 1st shift or mid-shift, starting no later than 11 am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
