Job Description

Inventory Specialist Onsite in Minneapolis, MN 55454 6 month contract (looking to convert to perm after)
Hours:
8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday (ERP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project)
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledgeable Inventory and Procurement portions of ERP
  • 1+ year of relevant inventory management experience (healthcare experience a plus but not required)
  • must be able to communicate well, good customer service is required for this role, someone who wants to work in a hospital setting, someone who is reliable/dependable and on time.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors is not required for this role but a plus
Job Description:
The Inventory Specialist manages the adjustment of inventory levels of stock and nonstock supplies/equipment/linen. Analyze and monitor inventory levels. Consider labor and acquisition costs in determining appropriate par levels for cost effective inventory management. Maintain, verify and update receiving and distribution records and supplies. Provide communication to all customers regarding changes and updates to product descriptions, number, and units of measure, stock additions, and deletions. Provide guidance and support department managers in appropriate inventory control to manage costs and meet department fluctuations. Works directly with vendors, suppliers, front line staff, customers, and managers #AJ1
