Job Title:
Inventory Control Specialist Job Description We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist who will expertly navigate through our ERP system to efficiently manage all daily aspects of 'Inbound & Outbound' inventory operations. The role involves creating purchase orders, processing recycle and destruction loads, and ensuring the maintenance of finished goods, raw materials, and sub-assembly components as per established guidelines and procedures. Responsibilities Navigate and execute daily tasks within the ERP system. Create purchase orders for various materials. Process recycle and destruction loads. Ensure maintenance of finished goods, raw materials, and sub-assembly components. Verify real-time inventory transaction records in the ERP system. Complete Oracle transaction activities from Receiving into Inventory, WIP, or Non-Conforming inventories. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of inventories through daily audits and a comprehensive Cycle Count program. Compile records by SKU, quantities, Sub-Inventories, and validate EBS Oracle. Compute inventory balances and prepare reports on inventory balances, shortages, and discrepancies. Organize warehouse for efficient storage and material distribution per supervisor instructions. Maintain accurate inventory levels through daily, monthly cycle counts, and annual year-end physical inventories. Identify disposition of expired inventory (SLOB). Maintain product rotation and storage disciplines (FIFO). Essential Skills Strong computer skills Attention to detail Experience in food manufacturing Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with inventory control and data entry Knowledge in production, quality control, mixing, cycle counts, and blending Familiarity with food production, scanners, forklifts, GMP, loading, and formulas Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
