Job Description
Restoration Project Lead We're looking for a driven Project Lead to lead property restoration projects from start to finish. Water, fire, mold, and storm damage. In this role, you'll take ownership of planning, execution, and quality, while guiding crews and subcontractors to deliver outstanding results for our clients. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for directing a team through the pack-out, digital inventory, cleaning, and restoration of personal and commercial belongings . The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, and maintains a high level of empathy when working with clients during challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:

Pack-Out & On-Site Operations Assess & Document:
Perform detailed walkthroughs of affected properties to evaluate, photograph, and document contents prior to removal 2.
Inventory Management Digital Documentation:
Utilize inventory software (e.g., Encircle, ContentsTrack, XactContents) to create detailed, room-by-room digital inventories with photo documentation
Track & Manage:
Maintain accurate tracking of all items throughout the pack-out, storage, cleaning, and return process
Non-Salvageable Items:
Collaborate with property owners and insurance adjusters to document and process unsalvageable contents 3.
Lead technicians in deodorization and restoration of salvageable items
Quality Control:
Perform final inspections to ensure restored contents meet company standards before returning to the client 4.
Leadership & Customer Service Team Leadership:
Schedule, train, and supervise contents technicians and cleaning staff while reinforcing safety protocols and quality standards
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, business owners, and insurance representatives, maintaining professionalism and empathy
Warehouse Oversight:
Ensure a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment; maintain proper inventory and readiness of company vehicles
Pack & Wrap:
Lead and assist technicians in safely packing and protecting items using industry-approved materials (e.g., shrink wrap, bubble wrap, specialty cartons)
Load & Transport:
Supervise the secure loading and transportation of contents to cleaning or storage facilities
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Background in restoration, moving, packing, or cleaning preferred but not required
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and digital inventory systems Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 30-50 lbs regularly
Soft Skills:
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, Excellent communication and customer service skills, High level of empathy and professionalism during sensitive client interactions
Work Environment:
This role requires flexibility, as the work environment can vary between offices, warehouses, and client sites it requires ensuring the safe and efficient handling of all materials.
