Position Title Inventory & Compliance Specialist Job Description What You Will Do Maintain and update the live inventory spreadsheet daily to ensure inventory accuracy across the facility. Communicate inventory availability to support timely product listings and sales through LeafLink. Track finished flower, pre-rolls, and flower byproducts using METRC, chain of custody documentation, and production batch records. Coordinate and oversee product testing for flower, pre-rolls, vapes, and edibles to ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready compliance documentation. Complete waste reporting and inventory adjustments in METRC in accordance with Missouri cannabis regulations. Order, distribute, and manage METRC tags for Packaging and Manufacturing departments. Monitor METRC activity, investigate discrepancies, and resolve compliance issues proactively. Communicate inventory and compliance concerns to the Director of Compliance. Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance initiatives. Prepare and maintain monthly inventory reports. Ensure accurate tagging, tracking, and reconciliation of cure tube inventory. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Conduct routine facility compliance walkthroughs to identify and correct potential compliance concerns before they become issues. Serve as the primary on-site contact during regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance visits, providing documentation and coordinating with department leaders. Partner with cultivation, manufacturing, and packaging teams to ensure all work areas remain inspection-ready and compliant with state regulations and company SOPs. What Success Looks Like Maintains accurate inventory records with minimal discrepancies. Ensures all inventory movements and documentation comply with Missouri cannabis regulations. Demonstrates expert knowledge of METRC and consistently maintains compliance standards. Effectively communicates with cross-functional teams to support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Successfully prepares the facility for internal audits and regulatory inspections. Demonstrates exceptional organization, accountability, and attention to detail. Maintains an inspection-ready facility by proactively identifying and addressing compliance risks through regular walkthroughs. Effectively manages regulatory inspections by providing accurate records, answering compliance-related questions, and coordinating with internal stakeholders. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. Eligible to obtain a Missouri Medical Marijuana Agent Identification Card. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the cannabis industry is required. Hands-on experience using METRC is required. Experience with cannabis inventory management, compliance, or regulatory reporting is required. Strong understanding of Missouri cannabis regulations and compliance standards. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking systems.
Compensation Base Pay:
$20.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
