  • Permanent (Tenure 1/2) T32 technicians of the MT Army Nional Guard.
Duties Help This position is loced in the Army Nional Guard (ARNG) Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (DCSLOG/G4), Distribution Management Division, Plans Policy and Readiness Branch. Its purpose is to develop command logistics guidance and support plans for federal and ste missions. Formules and implements the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operions support, based on logistics da and requirements obtained from the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizions. Develops, coordines and implements policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements as approved by the USPFO, emergency support for civil authorities, training exercises support and environmental compliance. Ensures coordinion between units, JFHQ staff, USPFO, NGB and other agencies on command logistics support requirements. Inities equipment redistribution guidance. Responsible for operion of the logistics operions center to support JFHQ Emergency Operions Center for Federal and Ste missions. Obtains da from the Unit Stus Report and the Merial Readiness Report to determine and improve logistics readiness. Consolides all logistics readiness indicors to formule an assessment of the command logistics readiness of the ste. Develops the Equipment on Hand policy th directs the supply and services officer and (DOL)

to initie equipment redistribution actions within the command. Develops, staffs and implements logistics plans for merial fielding, mission support and mobilizion. Receives input from the Surface Maintenance Manager (SMM) regarding the Mission Support Plans to support the merial fielding plan. Develops command requirements for new equipment training. Analyzes, directs and provides command logistics guidance to support

changes and turn-in of command excess equipment to the USPFO. Serves as the Informion Systems/Automion Security Officer, Physical Security Officer and Safety Officer for the directore, providing technical oversight throughout the shops and activities of the program. Updes Internal Management Control (IMC) Plan projecting 5 years into future for all DCSLOG/G4branches or activities. Prepares the annual

Ability to establish effective professional working relionships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperive working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission. May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required. The duties and responsibilities of your job may significantly impact the environment. Must have one of the following: A) 1-year of specialized experience equivalent to least the next lower grade of GS-7. Experience analyzing, developing, evaluing to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc. Experience involving the control of supply stocks and accounting for equipment. Knowledge of supply functions, caloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures. Experience in cost estimes, budgets, or funding management. Experience conducting extensive searches for required informion; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operions support. Experience requiring person-to-person contacts to convey informion and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. (MUST address your experiences in detail on resume as they rele to these specialized experiences, if using experience to qualify for this position/grade)
  • OR•B) Master's or equivalent gradue degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level gradue educion leading to such a degree or LL.

Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulions to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
