Job Description

We are looking for a candidate with a background in the furniture industry for a Foam and Fabric Inventory position in High Point, NC. This role is moving quickly! Ideal candidates will have 3-5+ years of experience in furniture, foam, and fabric inventory experience. Hours
  • Monday to Friday 630am to 4:30pm Pay
  • $18 Location

  • Shortages and overages of foam vs paperwork). Communicating any changes or problems with foam that will affect inventory or delivery of jobs (IE
  • Missing parts from kits, parts incorrect, or damages to foam) Unloading and checking product from vendors as it arrives and assigning and moving it to correct bins.
Turning in packing lists with accurate counts and bins. Performing inventory cycle counts or getting counts as needed. Cleaning, organizing, and making sure area is tidy and accessible. Reporting safety hazards or potential dangers to management. Physically pulling and kitting fabric/leather for upcoming weeks and slot-ins. Reporting any physical discrepancies (IE
  • Shortages and overages of fabric vs paperwork).
Unloading and rolling out fabric/leather from vendors as it arrives and, properly tagging job numbers, yardage, product name, part code, and date received) assigning and moving it to correct bins. Identifying and checking in/rolling customer ordered materials (C.O.M), labeling, and once job number(s) are assigned material must be labeled with job info. Turning in packing lists with accurate counts and bin locations. Performing inventory cycle counts or getting counts as needed. Rolling out excess fabric after job completion and updating amounts. Managing an accurate inventory. Cleaning, organizing, and making sure area is tidy and accessible. Reporting safety hazards or potential dangers to management. Physically pulling and kitting foam for upcoming weeks and slot-ins.
