For additional insight into life at TrueLook, including our culture, values, and other open roles, visit https://www.truelook.com/about/careers Position Summary The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the efficient flow of materials throughout TrueLook's operations. This role serves as the primary owner of inventory control processes, including cycle counting, inventory analysis, ERP transactions, BOM management, receiving, material movements, and inventory reporting. The Inventory Specialist works closely with Production, Logistics, Procurement, Service, and Operations teams to ensure inventory is accurately tracked from receipt through final disposition and is available to support operational needs. Key Responsibilities Inventory Control & Accuracy Perform daily cycle counts and scheduled inventory audits. Conduct finished goods cycle counts and support annual physical inventories. Investigate inventory variances and identify root causes. Research discrepancies involving inventory transactions, receiving, production usage, and BOM accuracy. Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy. ERP & Inventory Management Execute inventory transactions accurately and timely within the ERP system. inventory transfers and material movements between warehouses and departments. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical inventory matches ERP records. Support month-end inventory reporting and reconciliation activities Receiving & Material Flow Verify quantities and condition of inbound purchase orders. Complete purchase order receipts in the ERP system. Perform product putaway and maintain organized inventory locations. Coordinate physical movement of materials to support Production, Service, and Hardware Solutions Warranty, and other operational functions. Manage inventory disposition activities for damaged, obsolete, warranty, and write-off materials. BOM & Kanban Management Create, maintain, and update Bills of Material (BOMs). Verify BOM accuracy and investigate material consumption discrepancies. Manage Kanban inventory replenishment processes. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to Procurement and Operations. Reporting & Continuous Improvement Generate inventory reports and support KPI tracking. Assist with shipped goods and parts order reporting processes. Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency. Support process improvement initiatives and inventory-related projects. Qualifications Required 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse, manufacturing, or supply chain experience. Experience working within an ERP system. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite and inventory reporting tools. Preferred Manufacturing or assembly environment experience. BOM management experience. Cycle count and inventory reconciliation experience. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Success in This Role Success in this position is measured by maintaining high inventory accuracy, ensuring timely and accurate ERP transactions, supporting efficient material flow, maintaining accurate BOMs, and providing reliable inventory information that supports operational and production objectives.
