Submittal Inventory Control Specialist - Data Center | Sparks, NV Nexeo HR is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support the Spares department within a fast-paced data center environment in Sparks, NV (near USA Parkway). This role is critical to ensuring accurate inventory levels, timely delivery of materials, and operational excellence across all hardware support functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in inventory control, kit assembly, and material request fulfillment.   • Receive, inspect, and record incoming IT hardware, components, and materials with high accuracy
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory records using internal systems and ensure data integrity across all entries
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and full inventory checks; identify and reconcile discrepancies promptly
  • Assemble and prepare hardware kits for deployment to technicians and data center operations teams
  • Process and fulfill material requests and ticket orders from engineering and operations
  • Ensure all equipment and parts are properly labeled, organized, zoned, and stored according to standards
  • Monitor the condition of tools, handling equipment, and workspace areas to maintain safety and functionality
  • Support continuous improvement efforts, compliance checks, and inventory-related audits
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workspace in alignment with data center safety and confidentiality requirements
  • Follow all SOPs, safety guidelines, and documentation standards consistently
  • Perform lifting, pushing, pulling, and physical tasks as required on the data center floor Qualifications
  • 1-2+ years of experience in inventory control, asset management, material handling, or high-volume logistics
  • Basic computer proficiency with the ability to use inventory management systems (WMS/ERP preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and adherence to procedural expectations
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Reliable transportation to the Sparks/USA Parkway area
  • Must pass a national background check and pre-employment drug screen Pay $25.
00 Per Hour Schedule Full-Time | Day Shift | 6:30am - 3:30pm | Monday - Friday Must be willing and available to work OT as needed
