Thursday & Friday 8:00a-4:30p, Sunday & Monday 1:30p-10p- This position is highly regulated, please review Regulation 4 sections 4.035-4.060 NRS codes for Cannabis in Nevada on the Cannabis Compliance Board website prior to sending your resume.
- Increasing company profitability and maintaining accurate inventory levels is the order of the day for Inventory Specialists.
- The duties of the Inventory Specialist include, but are not limited to, the following:
Daily Operations:
Staff will be responsible for conducting several operational duties according to their assigned shift. Must be versed in inventory control, order fulfillment, and point-of-sale (POS) transactions. Handle Customer Service issues as needed. Maintain a clean and presentable sales floor in addition to the overall cleanliness of the Dispensary. Maintain accurate signage for the sale floor pricing and promotions. Maintain online menus and descriptions of products. Maintain a clean and orderly inventory vault under direction of the Inventory Control Manager. Assist in preparing sales floor orders, express orders, online orders, and curbside orders. Assist with front desk and customer intake duties, as needed.Customer Service:
Help to maintain the efficient workflow of customers and order fulfillment. Provide a warm welcome for all. Escort customers around the dispensary as needed. Ensures that inventory counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner. Instructs others on how and where to return defective goods. Develops and implements procedures for ensuring that adequate inventory levels are present. Trains other employees in cycle counting and inventory control. Validate customer info and availability in the METRC database. Accurately record customer data from all sales. Provide test results (COA's) as requested by patrons. Record all customers notes in the POS and inventory control system.On-Going:
Keep up-to-date with training and personal education as required by state and local regulations. Attend and participate in shift change briefings and company meetings, suggest ideas and solutions for improving the customer experience as well as the employee experience. Uphold a culture of communication, encouragement, and positive support for peers, management, and customers. Readily locate or have on-hand current test results for all products. Physical Requirements As an Inventory Specialist you will be required to stand for long periods of time, moving about in confined spaces, bend, stretch, and reach. Some heavy lifting is required from time to time. Must be able to perform basic office work; filing, organizing, printing. Must also be able to perform basic computing skills and Point-of-Sale duties. Ablility to lift up to 50lbs. Qualifications Minimum high school education with 1-2 years inventory control experience preferably in a retail setting. Inventory Specialists must possess an acute sense of attention to detail for handling incoming orders, verifying product labels and potency, and fulfilling orders. Compassion for customers and confidence in the cannabis knowledge base are key attributes that qualified candidates must have. A willingness to learn, the grit to adapt to an ever-changing environment, proficient on Windows, Mac, and Google platforms, are also ideal for Inventory Specialist candidates. Must be 21 years of age. Must have a valid Nevada Cannabis Agent Card and always have the card on his or her person while performing any business-related activities for Pure Tonic. Obtaining an Agent Card is the responsiblity of the employee to obtain and maintain. Must have a valid driver's license and provide fingerprints for background check for agent card to be considered. May not have an excludable felony conviction or drug related offense according to CCB regulations. Must have reliable transportation for travel to and from work. Must be knowledgeable and be able to provide information on cannabis and cannabis related products.
