has the following exciting position available in our Melville, New York office: Food Program Inventory Coordinator -

Older Adult Food Programs Job Description:

Manage Program inventory, including scheduling, receiving, ordering, transferring and distributing. Conduct audits and process receipts.

• Assist with food distributions to low-income community members across Long Island.
• Connect individuals to community resources and educate them on local support.
• New client enrollment and database maintenance.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years' experience in customer experience helping community members access services on Long Island.
• Previous experience in accounting or inventory management, preferably in the food or food services industry.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds while assisting with inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Other:

• 40 hours per week Monday- Friday. Occasional Saturdays.
• Indoor and outdoor work environments, including inclement weather.

Salary:

$24.50 per hour
