Inventory and Warehouse Specialist Innovative Air Location :
White Plains, NY Keep the Team Stocked. Keep the Jobs Moving. Innovative Air is Westchester's trusted residential team for heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, insulation, and IAQ services. We are looking for an experienced Inventory and Warehouse Specialist to take ownership of inventory, warehouse organization, truck stock, deliveries, parts flow, and restocking support for a busy residential home-service operation. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, hands-on, and experienced in keeping materials, tools, equipment, and stock moving accurately. Trade-specific experience is helpful, but not required. What matters most is strong inventory, warehouse, restocking, delivery, and stock-control experience. Key Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, receiving, staging, and stock control Maintain accurate inventory counts for warehouse stock, parts, materials, tools, and equipment Support truck stock programs by helping ensure vehicles are properly stocked, organized, and replenished Receive incoming deliveries, verify packing slips, inspect materials, and document discrepancies Pull, stage, and prepare materials for technicians, installers, service calls, and scheduled jobs Coordinate restocking needs with the internal team to help reduce delays, missing parts, and last-minute supply runs Track inventory movement, stock usage, returns, warranties, and special-order items Help maintain clean, labeled, safe, and efficient warehouse storage areas Support deliveries, parts runs, vendor pickups, and field restocking as needed Communicate clearly with technicians, installers, managers, dispatch, and office staff Use ServiceTitan, inventory software, spreadsheets, or similar systems to document inventory activity Identify opportunities to improve warehouse layout, truck stock processes, ordering accuracy, and inventory control Help protect company assets by maintaining accountability for tools, materials, equipment, and stock Qualifications 3 or more years of inventory, warehouse, stockroom, parts, supply, logistics, or materials-management experience Strong experience with inventory control, restocking, deliveries, receiving, and warehouse organization Experience managing truck stock, route stock, field stock, service inventory, or technician inventory strongly preferred Ability to track parts, materials, tools, and equipment accurately and consistently Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping systems clean, organized, and dependable Comfortable using tablets, software, spreadsheets, inventory systems, or warehouse management tools Ability to lift, move, load, unload, and organize materials safely Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record, per company policy and insurer requirements Employment is contingent on passing a background check consistent with applicable law HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, automotive, parts counter, supply house, or service-trade experience is helpful, but not required Forklift, warehouse equipment, or safety training is a plus Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude Pay & Benefits Full-time, W-2 employment
Schedule:
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, non-negotiable
Pay:
