Medical Inventory Specialist (Healthcare / Administrative Support) •
Location:
Columbus, OH 43223 •
Shift:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:30 AM•02:30 PM •
Contract Assignment :
Minimum 1 year
Job Summary:
Strong experience with inventory management, stock control, and supply ordering in a healthcare or warehouse environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including inventory tracking, data entry, reporting, and maintaining accurate records. Experienced in receiving, unpacking, verifying, and organizing medical supplies while maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and FIFO procedures. Skilled in monitoring inventory levels, replenishing stock, processing requisitions, and coordinating supply deliveries to support daily operations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including answering phones, taking orders, and providing excellent customer service. Experienced in maintaining inventory databases, purchase records, supply reports, and documentation of expired or returned products. Comfortable working in a correctional healthcare environment with direct interaction with incarcerated individuals while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Familiar with medical records, healthcare administrative support, materials management, and supply chain operations. Flexible to support both administrative and storeroom functions as needed while ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. HL01
