We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Specialist to oversee and maintain accurate inventory for a key customer. This position plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and acting as the primary point of contact between warehouse operations and the customer. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while maintaining strong communication with both internal teams and external customers. Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Verification & Accuracy Verify inbound shipments for accuracy in quantity, weight, and product Accurately count pallet quantities and confirm bag weights per pallet Cross-check inbound shipments against Bill of Lading (BOL) for discrepancies Verify lot numbers and expiration dates on inbound product Cycle Counting & Inventory Management Perform cycle counts Utilize cycle counts to identify and correct inventory discrepancies Scheduled cycle counts during slower periods Customer-requested or last-minute inventory checks Create, manage, and print cycle count lists Adjust inventory using correct system functions Inventory Adjustments & Troubleshooting Perform and understand Inventory Adjustments Adjust Receipts (inbound corrections) as needed Identify and correct inbound errors made during receiving Understand how adjustments impact integrated systems (inventory + billing platforms) Warehouse Operations Support Physically break down pallets to verify and correct quantities and weights Print labels using Zebra and mobile printers Operate warehouse equipment including: Ability to operate a Scissor lift (up to ~30 feet) Communication & Problem Resolution Communicate directly with customers regarding inventory discrepancies and issues Address and coach employees on inbound receiving errors Provide professional communication via Microsoft Teams and in person Qualifications & Requirements Previous inventory control or warehouse experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Experience with WMS systems highly preferred Ability to understand and reconcile inventory vs. receiving discrepancies Strong communication skills—professional and confident Ability to lift 55+ lbs consistently Work at heights (no fear of heights) Operate or learn to operate a scissor lift Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a customer account Preferred Skills Experience working with lot-controlled and date-sensitive inventory Knowledge of warehouse labeling systems (Zebra printers) Ability to train or guide team members on proper receiving procedures Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on root cause analysis Why Join Us?
