Inventory Specialist I

Join the team that is a leader in engineering, designing and manufacturing of leading-edge military expeditionary products and rugged industrial/commercial products since 1937. The primary function of this position is to support the fabrication operation by moving material to and from the work cells. Maintaining inventory, loading/unloading trucks and completing material data transactions on the computer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs stock picking, cycle counting, and point of use stocking tasks using manual and motorized material handling equipment including tow motors and pallet jacks Performs material data transactions on computer terminal Able to look-up and investigate transaction history to resolve inventory discrepancies Ability to clock/claim work orders as they are completed Follows visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted Adheres to all quality and safety standards Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred 1-3 years industry experience preferred Ability to operate tow motor, standup picker and other equipment as needed Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, work overhead with arms and sit or stand for several hours at a time Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required per plant rules
