In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring seamless warehouse operations. Your expertise in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, and data analytics will be essential in maintaining efficient inventory processes, supporting procurement activities, and driving continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency with warehouse management systems, and experience in demand planning and category management to contribute to our company's operational excellence. Duties Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through rigorous data collection, analysis, and reconciliation within warehouse management systems such as ERP platforms like SAP or AS400. Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies or inefficiencies in stock levels, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to optimize purchasing strategies, negotiate supplier contracts, and manage supplier relationships effectively. Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to generate insightful reports on inventory trends, supply chain analytics, and demand forecasting. Coordinate with warehouse teams on materials handling, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials management to ensure timely delivery and stock accuracy. Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing current workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency across inventory control functions. Support demand planning activities by analyzing sales data from Nielsen or retail management systems to forecast future inventory needs accurately. Manage stocking strategies for e-commerce platforms and retail outlets by leveraging analytics tools like SQL or data mining techniques for comprehensive data analysis. Oversee materials procurement processes by evaluating pricing strategies, analyzing financial models, and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements. Facilitate heavy lifting operations safely within the warehouse environment while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse distribution, or supply chain roles with a strong understanding of warehouse management systems (ERP systems such as SAP or AS400). Demonstrated expertise in supply chain analytics, demand planning, procurement, sourcing, and category management. Proficiency with data analysis tools including Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel for data visualization and reporting purposes. Knowledge of logistics operations such as shipping & receiving, materials handling, 3PL (third-party logistics), and production planning. Strong negotiation skills coupled with experience managing supplier relationships and contracts. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively. Physical capability for heavy lifting when required within warehouse environments; familiarity with safety procedures is essential.
