About the Role As a Logistics and Inventory Specialist, you will play a critical role in optimizing our production flow by managing material distribution and maintaining precise inventory records. You will ensure that our shop floor remains fully stocked and organized, directly impacting our ability to meet production targets efficiently. Responsibilities Oversee the intake, organization, and documentation of incoming and outgoing materials to ensure inventory accuracy. Collaborate with production teams to proactively identify and fulfill material requirements for workstations. Utilize barcode scanners and inventory management software to track stock levels and maintain digital records. Operate industrial equipment, including forklifts, to safely transport and stage heavy materials. Uphold rigorous safety standards and manufacturing protocols to minimize risks and ensure consistent output. Perform quality inspections on materials to identify potential defects before they reach the production line. Maintain a clean, orderly, and efficient workspace to support seamless daily operations. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume industrial environment. Proficiency with digital inventory systems and database software. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring agility, such as climbing or reaching. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex process instructions. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting. Background in shipping, receiving, or supply chain logistics. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a proactive manner.
