Job Description

We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting material flow throughout the manufacturing facility. This position performs inventory transactions, cycle counts, stockroom organization, material movement, and inventory reconciliation to ensure production has the materials needed to operate efficiently.
Pay Rate:
$25-$35/HR-depending on experience Responsibilities Pull materials from stockrooms and overflow locations using pick lists. Put away incoming materials following established procedures. Process inventory shortages, overages, and material transactions within the ERP system. Short-fill production areas as needed to support manufacturing. Locate parts, verify inventory availability, and research inventory usage. Complete inventory transactions for moving materials between stockrooms and production. Maintain accurate stock locations and inventory records. Perform routine inventory adjustments and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits. Investigate and resolve inventory variances through system and physical inventory reviews. Identify and process obsolete inventory. Assist with stockroom organization and layout improvements. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper transaction processing and audit trail documentation. Train team members on inventory procedures as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous inventory control, stockroom, warehouse, or materials management experience preferred. Experience using ERP or inventory management systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies and resolve issues. Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment 100% onsite position in Perry, Ohio. Manufacturing environment requiring adherence to company safety policies and PPE requirements. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Frequent standing, walking, and handling materials throughout the shift. Frequent use of hands for material handling and computer transactions. Ability to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive movements as needed. Must maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following OSHA and company safety procedures.
