Job Description

Oxford Solutions is working with an industrial equipment supplier in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh, PA seeking an Inventory Control Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire, onsite role supporting electro-mechanical equipment operations.
Pay Rate:
20-21/hr This position is ideal for someone who enjoys owning inventory processes, working cross-functionally with production, and driving efficiency in material planning.
Responsibilities:
Review incoming orders and create bills of material to allocate inventory Manage inventory levels to support production and customer demand Analyze data and forecasts to anticipate material needs Track shipments, deliveries, and inventory accuracy Utilize ERP systems to monitor and maintain inventory records Source materials, request quotes, and coordinate with suppliers Verify incoming materials meet specifications and quality standards Support order fulfillment and maintain accurate system data Partner with production to address inventory needs and issues Assist with hands-on work related to electro-mechanical components as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred Experience in inventory, materials, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment Familiarity with electro-mechanical components or equipment preferred Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory tracking and forecasting ERP system experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work onsite daily This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step into a high-impact role with visibility across operations and production.
