Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:
System Management & Inventory Control Execute all ERP transactions for material receipts, issues, returns, transfers, and adjustments with 100% accuracy and in real time. Perform daily cycle counts and root-cause investigations; reconcile variances and drive corrective/preventive actions. Monitor min/max levels and safety stock; generate and/or submit purchase order requests based on consumption and forecast. Receiving & Documentation Receive inbound raw materials: verify quantities, lot numbers, quality status, and documentation against purchase orders. Capture receiving data in the ERP and label materials and locations per site standards Collect, verify, and file Certificates of Analysis (COA) and Mill Test Reports (MTRs); ensure documents are linked to ERP lots and retrievable for audits. Shipping & Logistics Prepare, stage, and ship outbound orders: confirm shipments in ERP. Inspect outbound loads for accuracy, damage prevention, and compliance with customer/industry requirements. Warehouse Organization & 5S Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse; uphold 5S standards for aisles, racks, and bin locations. Ensure proper labeling of all materials, bins, racks, and quarantine/hold areas. Replenish shop-floor point-of-use materials to support uninterrupted production. Cross-Functional Communication Proactively communicate material shortages and delays to Manager. Partner with Quality on incoming inspection, nonconformances, and disposition. Support internal and external audits by providing inventory records, transaction histories, COAs, and MTRs. Compliance, Safety & Continuous Improvement Adhere to company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and material handling best practices. Identify and implement process improvements to increase inventory accuracy, reduce cycle time, and improve on‑time delivery. Key Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of warehouse or materials experience in a manufacturing environment. Hands-on ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, NetSuite, Infor, or similar) handling material receipts/issues, transfers, cycle counts, and shipping confirmations. Strong understanding of inventory control principles (cycle counting, FIFO/FEFO, min/max, safety stock). Experience handling and filing COAs and MTRs, with meticulous document control and traceability. Basic Excel/Office skills for logs and reporting. Detail‑oriented with strong data accuracy; able to reconcile discrepancies logically and quickly. Effective communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally under time pressure.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates schedules to maintain daily shipping deadlines. Maintains a schedule of back up shippers to assist and/of fill in as necessary. Functions as an intermediary between shipper and manager. Coordinate large shipments with department supervisors. Collaborates/directs the shipper and backup shippers to meet daily shipping deadlines. Other Tasks as assigned by management.
