Warehouse Inventory Specialist Hourly Rate:
$18.00
Shift:
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with possible OT. Role Summary Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is currently looking to hire a Warehouse Inventory Specialist for our Exeter, PA location. The Warehouse Inventory Specialist is responsible for all inventory control-related activities. As a Warehouse Inventory Specialist, you will develop the location's inventory management strategy, intending to control costs within budgetary limits, generate savings, rationalize inventory, and maximize available working capital.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage and maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory, including stock and stock locations. Manage and control perpetual inventory stock counting/ inventory accuracy checks Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital. Ensure that the good inward/ stock control department is well-organized and controlled to sufficiently support production and business goals Ensure incoming product is received and managed appropriately according to company procedure. Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required. Provide routine management information on inventory performance Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimize costs, and maximize working capital.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED. Six months+ of warehouse-related experience General knowledge and ability to perform relatively simple work using basic arithmetic. Must be able to recognize bin-numbered locations. Must be able to work in cooperation with others. Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in work assignments. Must be able to communicate effectively with others. Must have the flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift certification Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment Individuals may be constantly on their feet, except when operating machinery. Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb, and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly. Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and withstand heights of more than 15 feet. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Must be able to tolerate high and low-temperature levels. Must be able to tolerate a moderately loud work environment. Who is Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc.?
