Summary of Accountabilities:
Responsible for the overall maintenance of par locations. This includes initial set-up and design and building of par carts, initial stocking and labeling of items. Works with nurse manager and/or designee to develop par standards and process for insuring appropriate supplies are stocked and maintained. Insures new products are added to locations and communicates items adds/changes. On a routine basis, meets with nursing staff to obtain feedback regarding stocking and takes appropriate action. Insures all areas meet regulatory standards ( IV solutions secure, floor and ceiling heights compliant, needles and syringes secure. Responds to requests, for supplies/equipment in a timely manner. Notifies appropriate management if unable to deliver supply or service. Participates in department meetings/action planning.
Physical/ Working Requirements:
Heavy lifting and ability to breakdown full pallets of supplies and put stock onto shelves, offload shelves and deliver stock to patient care areas, assemble traction, transport soiled and clean equipment.
Degree Requirements and Minimum Experience Required:
