Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 9a-4:30pm (4 days a week) Are you organized, detail-oriented, and driven by a sense of purpose in healthcare? Join our dedicated team as a Central Supply Clerk at Aventura at Prospect, a skilled nursing facility committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. Why Join Us? Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a difference in resident care Competitive pay and benefits Growth and training opportunities Responsibilities of Central supply include: Inventory and monitor central supply levels; Work with management to analyze supply usage and determine target inventory level and reorder points; Order, receive and restock in accordance with procedures; secure emergency or critical items; Monitor cost and maintain related records; Reconcile input at end of month to invoice and ensure appropriate markup Inventory and stock supplies maintained at nurses station in supply points; record inventory and cost data and provide data to the business office and/or input in to the computer. Distribute appropriate supplies Maintain a safe and orderly work area, and conduct label reconciliation Assist with Nursing Department activities to include administrative support; assisting residents, families and visitors, and running errands to include travel to supply sources
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Previous experience in central supply or inventory management (healthcare setting preferred) Strong organizational and time management skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, order systems, etc.) Ability to lift, carry, and organize supplies Nursing home experience strongly preferred. CNA license strongly preferred.
