Pay Range:
$28/hr to $30/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to support field inventory operations for a leading healthcare technology organization. This role is ideal for someone with experience in inventory management, logistics, supply chain, or production planning who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and ensuring inventory accuracy. During the first 4-6 weeks, training will be conducted onsite in Cary, NC. After training, the position will transition to a mostly remote schedule, with occasional onsite visits as needed for additional training or IT support.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability. Review inventory shortages and take appropriate corrective actions. Support inventory replenishment and planning activities. Work with inventory management systems and ERP/MRP tools to maintain accurate inventory records. Prepare reports related to inventory performance and critical inventory items. Support field engineers by resolving day-to-day inventory issues. Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify appropriate solutions. Maintain accurate data across multiple systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support inventory and supply chain operations. Follow established company policies and quality standards. Qualifications Required Experience in Inventory Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Production Planning, or related operations. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Comfortable working with multiple computer systems and applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to learn new processes quickly.
Preferred:
Experience with SAP or another ERP/MRP system. Experience supporting field operations or field engineers. Background in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, or medical devices is a plus but not required.
Education & Experience:
Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Planning, or a related field OR equivalent relevant work experience. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Work Environment:
Initial 4-6 weeks of onsite training in Cary, NC. Mostly remote after successful completion of training. Occasional onsite attendance may be required for additional training or technical support. Local candidates are strongly preferred, as relocation or travel assistance is not provided. (LH-R1) #IND2
