1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM)
Pay Range:
$28/hr to $30/hr
Job Description:
We are seeking a Material Logistics Inventory Specialist to support inventory management operations for a field service organization. This role is responsible for managing consignment inventory, trunk stock, spare parts, and tool inventories while ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting field personnel, and maintaining compliance with inventory and accounting standards. This is a remote position following initial onboarding. Candidates must reside in the greater Raleigh-Durham, NC area to attend in-person orientation, training, and equipment pickup.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage consignment, trunk stock, spare parts, and tool inventory. Provide inventory support to field personnel via phone and online. Perform inventory reconciliation and resolve inventory discrepancies. Coordinate and execute annual physical inventory activities. Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues, including: Purchase order posting errors, Tool order failures, Return processing issues, Service report discrepancies, Serial number-related issues Generate inventory reports and perform data analysis. Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, customer support, logistics providers, and field management. Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes and reduce errors. Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred. 5-8 years of experience in inventory management, material logistics, supply chain, or a related field (candidates with strong relevant experience may also be considered). Experience using SAP for inventory or materials management. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting field service organizations. Knowledge of consignment inventory, spare parts, and trunk stock management. Experience with inventory reconciliation, physical inventories, and audit compliance. Experience working with third-party logistics providers. (LH-R1) #IND2

$28.01 - $30.00 per hour
