Job Summary:
The Project Management Specialist- Product Supply is responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives that improve operational efficiency, optimize supply chain performance, and support strategic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Leads end-to-end project management for supply chain initiatives, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution.
- Develops detailed project plans, milestones, KPIs, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
- Manages multiple concurrent projects such as inventory optimization, vendor transitions, network design changes, system implementations, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams and external vendors, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Communicates project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Facilitates project reviews, steering committee meetings, and post-implementation evaluations.
- Identifies opportunities to enhance supply chain performance using data-driven insights and analytics.
- Creates and maintains project documentation, process maps, SOPs, and reporting tools.
- Applies continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to optimize processes.
- Proactively manages project risks, issues, and scope changes to minimize disruptions.
- Supports change management efforts including training, communication, and adoption strategies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED and a PMP certification OR Black Belt Six Sigma certification
- 3-7+ years of project management experience, preferably within supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or Jira.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data modeling).
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor"s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
- PMP, CAPM, Lean Six Sigma, or similar project management certification.
- Experience supporting supply chain transformation, process improvement, or system implementation initiatives.
- Familiarity with cross-functional supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams and managing external vendors.
