POSITION SUMMARY
Inventory Control Specialists responsible for performing system and manual cycle counts, reconciling daily cycle counting report, and performing audits of storage locations. They are also responsible for investigating and correcting inventory exceptions, verifying product expirations/conditions, as well as processing customer returns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform system and manual cycle counts created by Receiving Supervisor. Create and reconcile daily cycle counting report and provide to supervisor. Perform various audits of storage locations. Complete other warehouse tasks as assigned by supervisor. Investigate and correct inventory exceptions and discrepancies effectively. Verify product expirations and relay expired/near-expired product information to receiving supervisor. Check any additional flavors/sizes of "hard/clumpy" products. Process customer and Amazon returns. Coordinate, move and replace stock items for website sale pictures. Execute physical counts when cycle count are not needed. Create cycle counts when errors are found in physical counts. Provide inventory system recommendations to management.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Unload and sort incoming shipments. Receive incoming stock and move to appropriate location. Update and create forward pick locations. Perform stock moves. Perform replenishments as needed. Assist in picking of retail orders during high volume sales. Interact appropriately and professionally with a variety of people, including delivery drives, supervisors, manager and associates.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior knowledge of Shiphawk is a plus High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to work as part of a team and meet performance goals Attention to detail and accuracy Eagerness to learn new skills Excellent communication skills Must pass background check
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to move about inside a warehouse without climate control, standing and walking for up to an entire shift, year round. Must be able to constantly position self to access product locations (stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl) and frequently ascend/descend ladders to access high shelving. Ability to lift and move boxes and merchandise weighing up to 60 pounds. Ability to operate pallet jack in a safe manner.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
