Job Description

Description Hissho Sushi is the second-largest sushi franchise in the country, proudly operating in over 2,600+ locations across 80+ retail partners, including grocery stores, universities, hospitals, airports, and more. The Technology Device Management Specialist is responsible for the accurate set-up, tracking, maintenance, and distribution of company-owned technology devices. This entry-level role plays a critical operational support function by ensuring devices are properly inventoried, functional, and available when needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable following structured processes to maintain accurate records and device accountability.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Device Inventory & Tracking
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all company technology devices, including location, status, assignment, and condition
  • Track device check-in and check-out activity to ensure full chain-of-custody accountability
  • Conduct regular audits of device inventory and reconcile discrepancies Device Preparation & Maintenance
  • Power device service on and off as required
  • Ensure devices are properly stored, set-up, and ready for deployment
  • Identify damaged, missing, or malfunctioning devices and document issues accurately
  • Apply appropriate charges or cost tracking for lost or broken devices in accordance with company policy
  • Coordinate weekend or urgent shipments when business needs require
  • Track shipments and confirm delivery receipt
  • Maintain detailed system records with a high level of accuracy
  • Follow established procedures for documentation and escalation
  • Support process improvements related to inventory accuracy and device lifecycle management
  • Follow company policies related to technology usage, security, and asset management
  • Handle devices responsibly to reduce loss, damage, or misuse Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain precise records
  • Basic comfort with technology devices (e.g., tablets, handheld devices, mobile equipment)
  • Ability to follow written procedures and standardized workflows
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to meet deadlines Preferred
  • Experience with inventory management, logistics, or asset tracking (professional, academic, or volunteer)
  • Familiarity with salesforce Work Environment & Schedule
  • Entry-level operational role
  • May require occasional weekend availability for urgent device shipments
