Job Description

Position Summary The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for supporting inventory control and organization within the maintenance department. This role manages incoming packages, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures the maintenance crib remains organized and efficient. The position requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Schedule:
This is a part-time position (Monday-Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Receive daily deliveries and notify appropriate departments of package arrivals in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming materials and supplies
  • Perform weekly rotating cycle counts of maintenance inventory components
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and assist in resolving variances
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal inventory tracking processes
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the maintenance crib, ensuring it remains orderly and accessible
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to promote shared responsibility for inventory organization
  • Utilize email and inventory management systems (such as eMaint) to track and communicate inventory information
  • Assist with additional inventory-related or administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or maintenance support role preferred
  • Experience with inventory or maintenance management systems (eMaint preferred) is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated in a part-time schedule
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email and data entry
  • Attention to detail with strong accuracy in inventory tracking
  • Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
