Job Description

The Inventory Control Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, organization, and integrity of our inventory. This position works closely with the Inventory Manager and cross‑functional teams to maintain accurate inventory records, support cycle counting and audits, and identify opportunities to improve inventory processes. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Production Floor and Warehouse Organization :
Ensure all parts and BIN locations are clearly labeled Ensure all areas have clear and proper signage
Inventory Management Support :
Complete Inventory Management tasks as assigned by the Inventory Manager Daily Cycle Counts when needed Follow up with Area Leads when there are Inventory Count Discrepancies and determine root causes Maintain and update inventory records to ensure accurate and timely inventory tracking Provide Inventory Reports to the Inventory Manager, including, but not limited to: Excess & Obsolete, FIFO (First In, First Out) auditing, Scrap Analysis, etc. Review and analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement Perform other tasks and projects as assigned. Work with Process Engineers to drive inventory flow efficiency including but not limited to locating, picking and replenishing parts on production floor.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Microsoft Office/Computer Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong attention to detail Ability to work as a team member Ability to follow standard operating procedures Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during physical inventory counts
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent 2+ Years in Inventory Control/Management in a Manufacturing Environment (preferred) Experience working with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc), WMS (Warehouse Management Software), or similar tools (preferred)
Knowledge of Inventory Principles, Concepts, and Procedures SALARY:
$21/hour+ DOE
