10/31/2023 PURPOSE
OF POSITION
The Inventory Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for reviewing and researching inventory discrepancies uncovered through cycle counts or location audits.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct research of inventory variances and help identify root causes. Load count results and research findings into the cycle count tool. Resolve variances by reviewing SAP history, warehouse system tools, and drone results if applicable. Provide feedback to the Lead and Supervisor on variance resolution status. Work closely with Warehouse team on inventory-related issues. Assist in preparing for Physical Inventories. Escalate to Inventory Control Supervisor or Manager as necessary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 2
to 3 years of experience in a warehouse setting. SAP experience required. QWMS a plus. Able to work overtime as needed. Able to travel between buildings as needed. Forklift and Scissor lift experience required. Good MS Excel skills. Ability to speak, read, and write English. Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards. High school diploma or equivalent required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Basic math skills. Accurate counting skills. Detail oriented. Can work well either alone or in a team. Legible handwriting. Strong interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills. Must be self-motivated with ability to use own initiative. Able to work with or near machinery. Able to handle routine assignments of a repetitive nature. Able to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms. Ability to work with a team of diverse individuals. Qualified to become certified on a forklift or scissor lift.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Able to squat to lift boxes weighing up to 65 pounds. Able to stand, stoop and bend. Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods. Able to work in warehouse environment with no central heat or air. Able to use a pallet jack.
