Job Description

The Equipment & Supply Clerk is located in the Metro Water Services - Stores Division. This position performs entry level duties involving stocking, issuing, and delivering equipment and supplies. Performs related duties as required. Employees at Metro Water Services work around the clock to ensure high quality drinking water, the best in storm water management and wastewater treatment, soil and water conservation, waste and recycling for the residents of Nashville-Davidson County and some surrounding areas. It takes electricians, chemists, engineers, mechanics, information technology workers, customer service representatives, utility equipment operators and more working together to meet our resident's needs. Assists with distribution and maintenance of inventory. Reads and interprets supply catalogs. Issues equipment and supplies. Prepares requisitions for equipment and supplies. Receives and stocks inventory. Maintains working area according to standards. Maintains accurate records and makes reports. May deliver and/or pick up supplies. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.
