In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution. Your expertise will drive process improvements, optimize inventory management, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. Duties Manage procurement processes including sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations to secure the best pricing and terms. Oversee warehouse operations such as inventory control, stocking, materials handling, and warehouse management system (WMS) utilization to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate transportation planning and management using transportation management systems (TMS), including freight, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Conduct data collection and analysis using SQL, Tableau, and other analytics tools to monitor supply chain performance metrics and identify root causes of inefficiencies. Optimize shipping & receiving processes, including order fulfillment, dispatching, and shipping & receiving documentation. Implement process improvements based on analysis insights to streamline supply chain activities, reduce costs, and enhance service levels. Maintain supplier relationships through negotiation, sourcing strategies, and vendor management to ensure reliable supply chain operations. Qualifications Proven experience in supply chain management with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution, inventory control, procurement, and logistics. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, AS400 or similar platforms; experience with transportation management systems (TMS) is highly desirable. Strong data analysis skills with experience in SQL, Tableau or equivalent tools for supply chain analytics. Knowledge of materials handling equipment including forklift certification is preferred. Familiarity with demand planning, production planning (MRP), category management, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations. Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse equipment enhances your ability to troubleshoot operational issues effectively. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement continuous process improvements. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
