This person owns quality grading, inventory accuracy, listing production, and day-to-day eCommerce operations across platforms. In an ITAD environment, this role is the bridge between the physical asset and the online marketplace — accuracy and speed are non-negotiable. Key Responsibilities Receiving & Quality Control Inspect all incoming and returned IT equipment for functionality, cosmetic condition, and completeness Grade products accurately (New, Open Box, Excellent, Good, Grade B/C) per company standards Verify that functional testing has been completed before any item is listed for resale Identify and document discrepancies, missing components, or damaged units upon receipt Flag non-resellable items and initiate proper documentation for scrap, claims, or returns Inventory Management Maintain real-time accuracy in inventory systems — quantities, locations, product details, and condition grades Label, tag, and organize inventory for efficient storage, retrieval, and pick/pack workflow Assist in cycle counts and participate in full physical inventory audits Reconcile inventory discrepancies and escalate unresolved variances to the eCommerce manager Manage SKU creation and product attribute entry for new inventory categories eCommerce Operations Build and publish product listings on eBay and other active platforms — titles, descriptions, specs, condition notes, and photos Monitor active listings for accuracy, pricing competitiveness, and policy compliance Process daily orders: pick, pack, label, and coordinate carrier pickups or drop-offs Manage order queue and ensure same-day or next-day fulfillment on in-stock items Handle customer inquiries, returns, and cases across platform messaging systems Flag listing errors, duplicate SKUs, or mispriced items and correct proactively Participate in daily or weekly eCommerce production check-ins with the team Pricing & Market Awareness Research comparable sold listings and market pricing to support accurate list price decisions Identify aged or slow-moving inventory and flag for repricing or markdown review Communicate pricing anomalies or market shifts to the eCommerce manager Compliance & Documentation Follow company procedures for handling, packaging, and storing IT equipment — including data security protocols for devices pending wipe or destruction Complete proper documentation for shipping damage claims, non-repairable items, and warranty exceptions Support R2/e-Stewards or other environmental compliance requirements as directed Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, eCommerce fulfillment, or quality control Demonstrated ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Proficiency with basic computer tools — Excel, inventory/ERP systems, and platform seller dashboards Strong attention to detail; low error tolerance on grading, listing specs, and order fulfillment Solid written communication skills for customer-facing platform messaging Ability to multitask across QC, listing, and fulfillment without losing accuracy Preferred Skills Hands-on familiarity with IT hardware — servers, networking gear, laptops, desktops, AV equipment Active eBay selling experience, including listing creation, order management, and case resolution Knowledge of resale grading standards and secondary market pricing for IT equipment Experience with ITAD, refurbishment, or electronics recycling operations Exposure to asset tracking systems, ITAD platforms (e.g., Razor, RIOS), or ERP tools Basic understanding of data destruction standards (NIST 800-88, DoD 5220.22-M) and chain-of-custody documentation Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs unassisted Comfortable standing, bending, and moving throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods Able to work in a climate-controlled warehouse with moderate noise levels Compensation & Schedule Hourly, full-time, non-exempt position On-site, Monday-Friday Competitive hourly rate based on experience
