Valtir has been an industry leader and global supplier of highway safety products for over 50 years. Working with industry partners and safety experts, Valtir continues to bring the next generation of innovative safety products to a dynamically changing market. Our products are specified, sold, and installed throughout North America and in more than 100 international markets. As an Inventory Specialist , you will oversee the ordering, storing, receiving and distributing processes of an Valtir's products and supplies. Main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation. You will manage an organization's inventory by overseeing the ordering, storage, receiving, and distribution of products and supplies.

Ft. Worth, TX Starting rate $75
K Full-time:
M-F, 7:30am to 3:30pm What you will do: Assists in maintaining accurate inventory values by performing weekly cycle counts of all company locations and inventory parts. Determines remediation plans for inventory/material variances and shortages. Tracking inventory levels, changes, issues, and reporting process. Developing protocols to mitigate inventory loss. Creating policies to ensure efficient inventory control procedures. Inform supervisor of any known problems with inventory/material in a timely manner. Always communicate effectively with department managers and all other personnel in a professional manner. Generate inventory reports such as inventory stock for raw materials, finished goods and work in progress. Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory throughout the year. Assist with periodic (Mid-Year/End-Year) physical inventory audits. Reviews paperwork received for inventory adjustments to ensure accuracy and proper sign off. Make inventory adjustments as required. Reviews inventory for obsolete items and assists in liquidation and scrapping obsolete or damaged inventory. Retrieves scrap logs from production and review for accuracy. What you'll need: Proven work experience as an Inventory Specialist or similar role Minimum of 2-4 years' experience Excellent organizational and time-management skills NetSuite experience preferred. Able to work weekends on occasion High school diploma or equivalent preferred Regular and predictable attendance.
