Position Summary The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all inventory processes for our 503A pharmacy. You will be a key player in our operations, directly contributing to cost savings, regulatory compliance, and our overall business growth. This role is perfect for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can help us build a scalable and highly organized inventory system from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Oversee and optimize inventory levels and records to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies. Execute regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain stock integrity. Collaborate on the receiving process by accurately verifying incoming shipments and inspecting for quality and damage. Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost savings. Ensure all inventory management practices comply with regulatory requirements, including GMP and FDA regulations. Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to ensure a seamless flow of materials for production. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Required Qualifications High school diploma or
GED. 2-3
years of proven experience in a dedicated inventory control role. Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems, such as Net Suite. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and pinpoint opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field such as supply chain management or logistics. Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or other regulated industry. Certification in inventory management or a related field. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite or Google Workspace, with a focus on using spreadsheet tools (like Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and lift packages up to 35 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, suppliers, and other departments. Ability to perform repetitive motions, such as counting, scanning, and typing. Ability to work in a typical warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.
