We maintain one of the largest and most diversified selections of valves, actuators, actuation accessories and specialty PFF in North America, comprised of more than 50 major manufacturers. We provide in-house valve automation services, including CAD design and drawings, machine, fabrication, assembly shops featuring CNC machinery, and automation repair work. Job Information:
Operates in a shop environment using technical knowledge and skills to assemble and build semi-complex assemblies. Installs, configures, performs problem determination and maintains products and equipment in a shop environment, following blueprints and manufacturer's instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment. Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment. Perform skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides expertise related to product implementation and continued service. Provides technical solutions and design implementations for products and services. Builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies equipment (electric actuators, Pneumatic actuators) , parts, components and assemblies. Analyzes and interprets test data. Evaluates performance and reliability of materials. Repairs Customer equipment including disassembly, degrease, replace needed parts and assembles back to OEM specifications. Performs routine analysis and calculation and recommends changes. Diagnoses and reports malfunctions. Learns and understands particular technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required. Mount Electric actuators to valves, set up to allow for valve and component automation, set limits, torques, while following dimensional and electrical drawings
Qualifications:
2-year technical degree 3-5 years' experience. Typical Training/Experience HS Diploma or GED required. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Generally, 2 - 5 years of experience in area of responsibility. Knowledge, understanding, and can interpret wiring schematics Has knowledge and understanding of motor control circuits and control systems Has experience using overhead cranes, forklifts, hand tooling Has a good knowledge of power tools, and mechanical tools as well as learning the use of specialized tooling. Physical Demands Frequently required to stand Frequently required to walk Continually required to sit Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity Occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl Continually required to talk or hear Continually utilize visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions Occasionally loud noise (examples: shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment) Work Environment This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
