Central Supply Technician -
Medical Records Support Highland Meadows Health & Rehab Address:

Position Summary As a Central Supply Technician, you are responsible for planning and directing the procurement of nursing supplies and maintaining accurate inventory levels to support facility operations. This position also provides administrative support to the Medical Records function as needed. The Central Supply Technician performs job responsibilities in accordance with facility standards and adheres to policies and procedures, federal and state regulations, corporate compliance requirements, and applicable professional standards. Responsibilities Collect and fill supply requisitions and deliver supplies to units/floors as needed. Order supplies from designated vendors with supervisor approval and maintain tracking of purchased items to ensure spending remains within the allocated monthly budget. Receive supply shipments and route packing slips to appropriate department heads. Maintain an organized and orderly storage area. Maintain accurate inventory records. Assist with Medical Records functions, including scanning progress notes into PCC. Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times. Work effectively with a diverse group of team members. Collaborate with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, and other department heads as needed. Assist with Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
At least one (1) year of experience in shipping and receiving. Ability to read and comprehend information necessary to perform job duties. Ability to communicate effectively with staff and vendors.
