About the role We are looking to add an Inventory Specialist to our growing Inventory Department . As an Inventory Specialist, you will report to the Inventory Supervisor and be responsible for assisting customers with item pick/put-away needs, receiving/shipping of items, filling out the proper documentation and logging information into Riot's software system. You will also be responsible for down-stacking, and re-palletizing boxes by hand, wrap/band pallets manually or with a machine, cycle count and maintain open communication with team members and leadership about task and task completion. This fully on-site position will directly support our Inventory operations at our Waco, TX facility. What you'll be doing Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records. Manage shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes. Update inventory data using inventory management systems. Maintain batch records, shipment documentation, and related paperwork. Verify incoming deliveries against packing slips and report discrepancies. Process damaged, returned, or incorrect inventory and complete return documentation. Operate forklifts, sky tracks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and inspect equipment for safety and maintenance issues. What you'll have Must be able to accurately cycle count inventory and resolve discrepancies. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate computer software or willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications to generate reports and findings. Experience or exposure to inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving duties preferred. Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or sky tracks, or willingness to learn. Strong mathematical, analytical, critical thinking, and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Self-motivated team player with strong independent decision-making abilities. 1-3 years of warehousing, inventory control, shipping, or receiving experience preferred. 1-3 years of material handling or equipment operation experience preferred, but not required. Experience with productivity and communication tools is desirable. Physical requirements and work environment Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Ability to lift and move equipment as needed ( 50 pounds) Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat, noise, etc.) Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures
