INDEVCONorthAmerica.com. We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate inventory levels within the manufacturing facility. This position performs daily and scheduled cycle counts, reconciles discrepancies, researches and resolves inventory variances, and ensures data integrity within the ERP system. The Inventory Cycle Counter works closely with production, warehouse, and procurement teams to support efficient material flow and inventory accuracy. Responsibilities ( Duties include but are not limited to) Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts in designated inventory areas (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods). Verify accuracy of inventory quantities and locations through physical counts and system checks. Creates, updates, executes, and analyzes inventory cycle count reports. Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies within the ERP system. Research root causes of variances, including transaction errors, material movements, or process gaps. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the ERP system. Identify and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring inventory issues. Collaborate with production, receiving, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions. Report significant inventory discrepancies, system errors, or process issues to the Inventory Control Manager. Participate in full physical inventories as required. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and control processes. Follow all company safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or warehouse operations (manufacturing environment preferred). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other basic office software. Ability to read and interpret inventory and production documents. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to stand, walk, and count inventory for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed. Work in warehouse and manufacturing environments with varying temperatures.
