- 2 Years purchasing or inventory experience (Willing to train the right candidate)
- Read and understand basic prints.
- Drug test performed by employer (marijuana included)
- If not located in Central Oregon, relocate to before starting work.
JOB DUTIES
- Designing and implementing an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures
- Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages
- Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels
- Evaluating new inventory, ensuring it's ready to ship
- Properly order new supplies avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies
- Analyze various suppliers to ensure the company is receiving the best cost-effective deals
- Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents
- Establishing guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items, the number of bids to accept and which vendors to consider
- Buying goods and services for the company
- Discussing contracts
- Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services
PAY:
$22.00-$28.00EMPLOYER NOTES:
