Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that ensure safety, security, and operational efficiency for our clients across various sectors. Job Overview Our Inventory Specialist will work with a peer and be responsible for purchasing and all aspects of inventory movement, such as restocking and accounting for stockroom items for the company. This role will develop inventory strategy and be an integral part of our timely and successful customer service. Responsibilities Create material purchase orders; ordering the parts through email, phone and utilizing the vendors shopping web page Research new parts, vendors, and customer pricing Organizing and placing parts for jobs/pickup ; occasionally delivering parts to a job site Conduct standard operating procedure inventory of entire stock room monthly to determine accuracy of expenses Reconcile the packing slip provided by the vendor to the actual materials received on a daily basis. Receive the parts into software; process change orders accordingly Organize and maintain stock room areas for efficient material storage and handling; maintain labeling system on manually stocked inventory shelving with stock items received or returned Notify management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability for installation and service projects Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel 2+ years experience working with inventory software Exemplary customer service Preferred Qualifications 3+ Low Voltage Fire/Alarm industry experience Experience with Sedona platform Budget management & stock ratio creation Physical Requirements Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Able to lift up to fifty pounds safely and effectively. Ability to squat, stoop, bend, reach, twist, push, pull repetitively. Able to utilize computer and screens for 50% of work day.
Pay:
