Our products are engineered to improve safety, performance, and reliability in demanding field environments. Job Summary The Inventory Management Specialist performs hands-on inventory operations that support manufacturing, assembly, and customer shipments. This position is responsible for receiving materials, validating receipts, processing ERP transactions, stocking inventory, issuing materials to production, staging outbound orders, and maintaining stockroom accuracy. The role requires consistent attention to detail, timely transaction processing, safe operation of material handling equipment, and adherence to inventory control procedures. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Inventory Receiving & Put-Away (Approximately 30%) Receive, verify, label, and store incoming materials. Process receiving transactions and resolve discrepancies. Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality, and Supply Chain as needed. Inventory Control & Accuracy Perform cycle counts and physical inventories. Maintain FIFO, lot control, and serial tracking requirements. Investigate and resolve inventory variances. Material Issuance & Order Fulfillment Pick and issue materials for production and customer orders. Stage materials according to production schedules. Process material returns and maintain staging areas. Stockroom Organization, Safety & Continuous Improvement Maintain a clean, organized stockroom. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Support storage optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. ERP & Documentation Responsibilities Process inventory transactions accurately. Maintain inventory records and traceability documentation. Communicate shortages, damages, and inventory concerns. Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of inventory control, stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred. ERP and inventory management system experience preferred. Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment. Work performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Performance Expectations Accurate and timely inventory transactions. Inventory accuracy targets achieved. Materials available to support production and shipping schedules.
